Dashboard example
The following image shows an example of the accessibility score breakdown as displayed on the default "Accessibility at UC" dashboard on Siteimprove. (If you do not see this dashboard when you log in to Siteimprove, contact Berkeley's Siteimprove support team at sitemprove@berkeley.edu.)
This is a real site which has achieved an overall score of 95.9, with all individual component scores above the required level.
Policy requirements
The Siteimprove dashboard also includes accessibility policies that are not counted in the above scores.
Policy | Minimum | Desired |
---|---|---|
Non-descriptive link text | No pages with more than one occurrence | No occurrences |
Additional requirements
Automated scanners do not detect all accessibility issues. In addition to these required scores and policies, all Berkeley sites must fulfill the Website Owner Responsibilities (which include keyboard testing and third-party manual testing).
