After submitting the request form, you will receive an email confirming your request and containing instructions and next steps. In some cases, staff from DAC will follow up with you to gather any additional information required.

Completing the application does not guarantee approval for your access to use the Loop. You will be notified when your account has been made active, as well as any additional steps needed before activation.

Loop authorizations will be processed as quickly as possible once the steps above are completed, however in the busiest times of the semester delays are likely. You can expect your activation for the Loop no later than two business days after you make your request. In most cases, requests are processed within a business day.
- Any questions, comments , or concerns that you have regarding your approval process or while you are using the Loop can be addressed by sending feedback to access@berkeley.edu or (after your account is activated) by submitting a feedback report in the Loop app.
