The Policies Applying to Campus Activities, Organizations and Students are a compendium of University-wide policies relating to student life. Section 20.00 describes the University’s policy against legally impermissible, arbitrary, or unreasonable discriminatory practices.
DSP Student Complaint Resolution Process
These processes describe the complaint resolution process in regards to: Denial of academic accommodations, decisions regarding eligibility for academic accommodations, determinations of specific appropriate academic accommodations, provision of accommodations and auxiliary services, provision of communication services, and administrative decisions of the Disabled Students' Program (DSP).
Academic Senate Regulation Title I- A207: Grade Appeals
This Regulation covers grievances by students originating in units of instruction and concerning grades. Grounds for grievance are application of non-academic criteria, such as considerations of race, politics, religion, sex, or other criteria not directly reflective of performance related to course requirements; sexual harassment; or improper academic procedures that unfairly affect a student’s grade.

This outlines the formal and informal procedures for grade appeals based on grounds of grievance such as application of non-academic criteria, sexual harassment, improper academic procedures, or other criteria not directly reflective of performance related to course requirements.
UC Berkeley Campus Student Grievance Procedure
The purpose of this procedure is to provide Berkeley students an opportunity to resolve complaints alleging discrimination based upon the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, medical condition (cancer-related), ancestry, marital status, citizenship, sexual orientation, or status as a Vietnam-era veteran or special disabled veteran.
